The Right Reverend and his family

I have photographed our Pastor and his young family before, but the last time they were a newly expanded family after adopting their two nieces.  Now fast forward over a year and they have settled into being a family of 7, just in time for the girls to graduate and go off to college. :)  Getting to know this family through our small groups has opened my eyes to just how 'normal' they are....completely abnormal...just like you and me! :)

The Right Reverend Roger reminds you to pray without ceasing!
sorry Pastor but rules are rules...i have free reign on where this photo shows up :)

A Cake Smash

Let's have a conversation about how cute cake smash photo shoots are.  A cute baby + a pretty cake/cupcake  can only = cute/fun/messy.  I have been photographing this little guys since he was a newborn...cue flashback....

awwww isn't he heavenly and sweet?!  Fast forward a year....and he's a chubby little one year old boy! I LOVE it!  So do yourself a favor and if you have a baby who is nearing 1 year old, do a cake smash session.  Your memories will thank you. :)

Baby E and his parents too...

This family is one that you've seen before.  I met them through a facebook connection and have 'shot' them twice now.  I love when I have repeat clients...especially those with children.  I love seeing how kids grow and change, and sometimes how they don't ever change. :)

Baby S

Well folks...I hope you are comfortable, because you are about to be inundated with photographs...and this time..NOT of my own kids.  Last weekend i got together with a little family from our church.  We had the great honor seeing these two get married less than 2 years ago, and NOW...I got to photograph their sweet little baby boy.  Steve and Amber are two amazing people that Joel and I have come to know better recently.  They are so on fire for God and have hopes to go join the mission field soon.  While they would be greatly missed, we pray that God utilizes the fire in their hearts to share his WORD.  But for now, we are all enjoying seeing them grow from a family of 2, to a family of 3.  You guys are going to be amazing parents to this sweet little boy and I wish you all the best in years to come...and MANY more children as cute and well behaved as this one!!

The W Family

We've known this family for a few years and have enjoyed fellowship and play time with them.  It was a lot of fun to photograph them last night in the beautiful Fall backdrop that God has created :)

Little Mr. L is growing up

Something I love about photographing babies, is when I get the chance to photograph them as they grow.  I've watched my own children grow up and it all happens so quickly, but when you only see a child once every 3 months or so, it's amazing how much they change.  The last time i spent time with Mr L he was just home from the hospital.  He slept, and ate, and cried some, but not much else...as most newborns do.  Well now he's 3 months old and he coos and smiles and interacts with his parents.  There may still be some crying...but hey...he's still a baby :).  Thank you for letting me capture some family moments of you guys in your new home.  The weather outside was a little less than inviting for many outdoor photos, but i love capturing photos in the intimate, comfortable, home setting as well.

it's too bad they can't always be all happy and smiles  ;)
Merry Christmas!!!
