A 'new' family

This past weekend I had the honor of doing some photos for a 'new' family, in a way.  Our pastor and his wife have recently added two teenage girls to their family.  I haven't had the chance to get to know them much yet but they seem like two great girls who are a lot of fun!  They are twins, but their personalities are quite different indeed. :)  Since their family is newly evolved, it was time for some new family portraits!

number 4 is on the way...

I spent last Saturday with a great friend of mine and her growing family.  Mrs. Jami is going on her 4th gorgeous baby.  We already have Mr. A, Miss E, Miss I, and is Mr. O.  I'm not sure what "U" will be ;)  I joke around that she has 14 kids or something, but really, all of her kids are great and she is a great momma to them.  They can drive her a little crazy, but really....isn't that a kids job?  So we anticipate Mr O's arrival and can't wait to see if he looks EXACTLY like your other 3 newborns, lol.

and you're about to hate me...but we love your crazy goofy family :)

Family...and a cat....

I re-visited a great little family this past weekend that I love working with.  I shot Mr H's photo when he was a couple weeks old and MY has he grown since!  I love little chubby baby cheeks and he has some to go around!  Thanks for letting me capture these great family moments with your little one.  You may be wondering why the title about the cat....well they have a sweet little grey cat that decided that he was not to be left out of any he kept returning, and returning, and returning to the scene.  I don't normally post 'bloopers', though I have my fair share, but in this case....I'll make the exception...

ok so anyways...enough with the ridiculous for something more serious...

he was really excited about the pumpkin hat :)

Family at the Farm

I met up with 2 families last night for some joint pics of the kids.  The farm was a gorgeous little place and a perfect setting.  The kids were sucha  variety of ages but the shoot went really well despite the challenge :)  I hope you enjoy and thank you for letting me capture these memories for you!
