A fun Maternity shoot....

After much scheduling, and re-scheduling, and then re-scheduling again, I was finally able to meet up with a couple from our church for their maternity shoot.  We scheduled on the weekend of Harvest Homecoming and I was excited to try my hadn at some real action/urban/fair/night/moving lights shots.  It was a very exciting time for me, lol.  David and Beth, I hope you guys enjoy these.  I had so much fun shooting them.  You guys are a fantastic couple and this baby of yours is entering into an awesome home full of love;  Love for each other, Love for the Lord, and Love for this sweet little baby boy.  I can't wait to meet him!

conversing over the worst iced coffees we've ever had.  ;)

these 'drawings' up in the windows were a fun photo op, and they were willing to play along!

Lil Miss I

I spent Saturday afternoon with a sweet little curly blonde haired girl and her mommy.  We were on a friend's property who happens to have 2 very inquisitive dogs, so I hope that Miss I's mommy likes these doggies, because her daughter sure did :).  I had a great time playing with you guys and Miss I is an absolute doll baby.  I love her little curls, so old fashioned and retro!

and last but not least, this one I nearly passed over but thought it might work in b/w...and now it's my favorite of the day...

Family at the Market

This weekend was a busy one for me.  On Sunday I went with a family out to a local farm/market for some fun photos.  The weather was complicated and we took a chance by bumping up the time to mid-day in hopes of escaping the rain, and I'm so glad we did!  The skies cleared and we even got a little sun from time to time.  The farm was gorgeous in all of it's Fall glory.  Special thanks to Berry Best Farms out in Nabb, Indiana for allowing us to come out!  This family is too cute, but i think they would agree that most of the cuteness is contained in their little boy, Mr. J. Though I may be ever so slightly biased...as he reminded me of another little boy that I know....MINE!

Thanks for being flexible and letting me get these shots!  I had a great time chasing your little man all over the place :)
